For more than a hundred years St. Elizabeth's has been an Episcopal mission on the Uintah-Ouray Ute Reservation in northeast Utah. We worship every Sunday morning at 10:00 using the Book of Common Prayer and a mixture of music, celebrating Holy Eucharist every week. Native elements predominate in our sanctuary, and while proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ we are respectful of Ute traditions. Our members are widely involved in ministries in the church, with a special focus on reaching out to the children and youth of the area. Our Arts-Kids and Arts-Teens programs engage their creativity and support the young people in speaking up and setting positive intentions. We make every effort to serve the community when troubles arise, and we enjoy fellowship and Bible study. St. Elizabeth's supports people in recovery and host an open A.A. meeting on Thursday evenings at 7:00. We invite anyone who's interested to join us for worship on a Sunday and stay for refreshments afterwards!

Ministries
Arts-Kids and Arts-Teens
These programs engage the young peoples' creativity and support them in speaking up and setting positive intentions. During three after-school series and a summer camp, visiting artists (often local Natives) present artistic media and processes to stimulate personal expression. A Talking Circle at the beginning and end of each program gives each of us a chance to check in, set and review our intentions. A team of local adults provides leadership and an intergenerational family feeling, each session ending with a shared meal.
