The Church of the Redeemer is a community of faith that seeks to follow Christ and His teaching and example as we share the gift of God’s profound Love with all whom we know and encounter. We are a family that finds great joy in being with God and each other. Our members are deeply committed to the growth and development of God’s parish at Redeemer. The people of the congregation spend time together, whether it is on a Sunday morning or at the many fellowship and outreach opportunities that are important to our church community. There is tremendous caring and concern for all of God’s children and we strive to live that out within, and through, our wonderful congregation as we worship, learn, and socialize together.
We continually seek to learn about Christ and look for ways to become more like Him every day. Closeness to God, meaningful involvement in church life, and feeling a sense of belonging in the church family are the most important values we share. Lay and clergy work together closely to plan and carry out goals for ministry within the church and in the surrounding community.

Each year the children of the Sanctus Class raise money to share their love for people in need.

Casa Hogar Orphanage, Mexico
We are a mission partner of the Mexican children’s home through mission trips and financial support. Our commitment is to show these children the love of Jesus Christ. On missions trips, which we started in 2003, we do light construction work, organize arts and crafts projects for the children, participate in worship services, and attend to the children’s basic medical needs.
Cange, Haiti
We support the world outreach mission of the Episcopal Diocese of Upper South Carolina, particularly to the people of Cange, Haiti, and the surrounding area of Haiti’s Central Plateau, where they have been in the ministry for 30 plus years. Cange is a small rural village ld by visionary Episcopal priest, Father Fritz Lafontant

We support our friend and Redeemer member Gary Powell who is serving as a missionary in this area of great need.
