Ministries

The Oasis

Donation Coordination/Distribution

The Oasis ministry has been a part of St. Luke’s since 1984 and is one of the largest outreach evangelistic tools of the church. In the beginning, The Oasis sold resale items and gave monies to help fund the church as it was needed. In recent years, the outreach aspect of The Oasis has become a ministry that serves several counties and cities. It greatly aids those nameless individuals who seek help from organizations.

In addition, those families who are destitute and in great need are given clothing free of charge when referred by other charitable organizatins. While serving direct clients, volunteers from The Oasis deliever unsold clothing and other articles to The Salvation Army and Goodwill Industries in Lufkin and Conroe. There are volunteers helping with this ministry from many walks of life. Special people who give their time to insure the continued success of The Oasis. They are called the “Oasis Angels”.

SO please donate to our shop your unwanted items.

If you are shopping for something, don’t forget to check us out. New inventory arrives daily and you never know what you will find at The Oasis.
