St. Andrew's Episcopal Church of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky was founded in 1898 and began worship in its "new" church building in 1910. The Mission had its start in the Chapel on the Army Post, ultimately being admitted as a Unorganized Mission into the Diocese of Lexington and almost immediately thereafter as a Parish in 1908. St.Andrews is a Christian family in the Anglican tradition, that acknowledges Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Our role as a people is strengthened through worship, the Sacraments, Christian education by a deeper understanding of the Bible, and sharing with others. We serve as a channel for the congregation to mnister to each other and to members of the comunity. St. Andrew's is a church open to all people who seek God's love through Jesus Christ. We have enjoyed longer ministries by having five (5) Rectors serving us over the last nine (9) decades. Each Sunday, approximately 150 people together for worship, and our worship is enhanced by a vibrant and active Music program. Like the congregation, our vocal and bell choirs are multi-generational. Our choir competed in the 2012 World Choir Games and was awarded a Silver Medal in the Musica Sacra Category. With two (2) priests, assisted by a staff of seven (7) lay people, we offer a wide variety of ministries, programs, and activities.
