St. Andrew's Episcopal Church

Welcome to St. Andrew’s York — an Episcopal Parish in the Diocese of Central 
Pennsylvania. St. Andrew’s York is a vibrant faith community that seeks to show the love of Christ in our community through worship, outreach, learning, and fellowship. We invite you, as Jesus did his first disciples, to “Come and See” the love of Christ.

 There are lots of things that take place inside our red doors and out in the world on a  daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Here are just a few!

 Each week there are various Bible or book studies lead by Fr. Grant and numerous lay leaders. In addition, there are seasonal studies during Advent and Lent along ranging from weekly supper-and-study groups to one-day retreats. 

 Once a month, at the All Pro Dad Breakfast,  we cook up pancakes and sausage for students and their caregivers from Phineas Davis School. 

 Our Outreach Ministry is busy throughout the year with making chili for “Our Daily Bread” ministry in York City. We also prepare summer bags for the 1st grade students at Phineas Davis School. We provide a Halloween stop for the neighborhood families on October 31st, and Christmas gifts for families at the Bell Shelter in York just to name a few.

 We stock Andy’s Pantry (our in-house food pantry) and provide food and hygiene products for those who stop by. At Thanksgiving we fill bags of grocery items to help make a holiday meal for families in need. At our Annual Meeting we collect additional items to fill our pantry.

Our worship services are Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. (fellowship is the first Sunday of each month at 9:30). Each 5th Sunday, we have a joint worship service at 9:30 a.m. followed by a potluck brunch.  We have a midweek worship service on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. after which we go for coffee at our neighborhood coffee shop — the Belmont Bean.
