History

St. Johns was organized on November 11, 1816, and a year later entered into a union with the Episcopal Diocese of New York. The importance of the campus cannot be underestimated, for its historic, architectural and cultural contexts. The site is recognized by the National Register of Historic Places.  Our parish serves the Sullivan County community in a variety of compassionate ways as Our Lord has taught us.
