St. David's Episcopal School

St. David's Episcopal School is in it's 69th year as a Parish Day School and outreach of St. David's Episcopal Church. We have served children 16 months through kindergarten since 1954. The school is dedicated to meeting very young children where they are developmentally in order to help them experience success in their future school career. With very little staff turnover, the outstanding and dedicated educators  continually strive to provide a superior learning and nurturing environment. We also are very blessed to have a devoted and enthusiastic school board that provides constant support.

The philosophy of early childhood education at St. David's emphasizes teaching children that learning is fun!

We achieve this through:

• developmentally appropriate classrooms and curriculum
• providing experiences designed to develop children's natural, spontaneous exploration of the world they live in
• taking advantage of teachable moments to foster children's ability to observe, discover and experiment
• teaching children to slow down, stop, look and listen
