Project C.Ar.E.S. - Leadership through Literacy - Tutoring and Enrichment Program
Project C.A.R.E.S. (Project C.A.R.E.S.- Community ARts and Educational Services) provides educational and enrichment activities for children and young adults living in the Mason, Tennessee and surrounding areas. Project C.A.R.E.S. started in 2009 and continues to provide services to help with the spiritual, physical, and cognitive development of mostly at-risk students
Project C.A.R.E.S. is a community literacy and enrichment tutoring program partially funded in the past by Church Home Foundation of The Episcopal Diocese of West Tennessee and is currently supported by the St. Paul - Mason Gailor Community. One phase of Project C.A.R.E.S. includes a tutoring program where students are able to learn outside of school and get extra preparation for the ACT, SAT and regular school work in Math, Science, and English (i.e.Reading, Grammar and Writing). All sessions are led by University professors, teachers and trained tutors. All instructors and volunteers have taken and passed the Safe Church Training in the Diocese of West Tennessee.
Another phase of the program focuses on exposing the mostly at-risk students to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) majors and careers. Students from Tipton, Shelby, Fayette, and surrounding counties are welcome to attend. Other programs are available for students K-6th grade and 7-12th grade. Hybrid and in-person classes are available.

Episcopal Church Women - ECW
Since 1871, the National Episcopal Church Women, ECW, have championed women’s rights and the Christian foundation of God and family. They are a ministry of the Episcopal Church and celebrate that Episcopalians believe in a loving, liberating, and life-giving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The St. Paul Episcopal Church ECW meets on the first Sunday of each month after service.
