St. Mary’s Episcopal Church has been engaged in ministry in the Lampasas area for over 135 years. If you are looking for a place to worship God we would be honored if you would come and worship with us. St. Mary’s is a community that is committed to prayer, service, and fellowship. We are on a journey of faith in which we seek a deeper connection to God who created and cares for all.
Each one of us has come to this place of deep spirit to be formed in the community of the faithful. We enter this community through our baptism, wherever that took place, and engage in ministry with God and each other. As we gather together we are changed by God and each other and we are changed when new people come into our midst, worship with us and give of themselves to this community of the faithful.
We are a faith community striving to be real, rooted, and relevant to ourselves and our community. Real in the sense that we engage in ministry and service realizing that we all fall short of the mark. We, as Episcopalians and Anglicans, are rooted in the deep current of the church stretching back across time to the very beginning, worshiping in a way that connects us to those earliest Christians. We are constantly striving to show the gospel message and the words of God as relevant to our time and our culture.
We come together on Sunday, and at other times, to worship God and to be sent out to do the work that we have been called to through our worship and our Baptismal Covenant. Please come worship and experience with us the overflowing grace of God that encompasses all of creation.
If you have any questions please call the church office at 512-556-5433 or drop us an email at office@ourstmarys.org and we will be happy to help any way that we can.
May God’s grace and blessing be with you all as you live into the Kingdom of God.

Diocesan Mission Funding
As a member of the Diocese of Texas, St. Mary's participates in the Diocesan Mission Funding process. Mission Funding is the way that we as individual congregations voluntarily join other congregations in our diocese to reach out as One Church, empowered by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to minister to others, to share God’s love and to transform lives. Lampasas Mission
Our Parish supports the Lampasas Mission by collecting non-perishable food items on the first Sunday of each month, as well as making quarterly cash donations. We also have a food drive in conjunction with the Halloween Event that our Youth Group Sponsors.
Lampasas Mission, staffed by volunteers only, has served the people of Lampasas County since 2002. In 2008 the mission provided food to 2,296 households, which equated to 7866 individuals. Of that 2,296 households, 179 were new households. The mission also opened a clothes closet in January of 2009. The Lampasas County community has stepped forward with donations of food, money, clothing, household items, and their time in order to serve those who are in need and St. Mary's is proud to be part of this initiative.
Lampasas Mission is located on East Fourth Street near the bridge and they are open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00–3:00 p.m. and Monday evenings 6:00–8:00 p.m. from June until September. They are open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00–3:00 p.m. from September until May.
