The Story of St. Catherine's

July 1999 we began worshiping on Saturday nights at the founding priest's home in Sienna Plantation We quickly moved from our priest's living room to a storefront location on Cartwright Road in Missouri City, holding our first service there on Palm Sunday of 2000. In June 2001, the Reverend Stacey Fussell accepted the call to St. Catherine's and led us for eight glorious years. During her ministry, the church grew to the point that it became necessary to purchase a large piece of property in Sienna Plantation.  It was not long before we were dedicating our new building in 2006. In November of 2010 we welcomed our new priest, Father Mike Besson. St. Catherine's continues to grow under his leadership. On February 9, 2013, St. Catherine's realized its dream of moving from "mission church".

Our congregation reflects our community: the average age is in the mid 40's and we count many children among our members, from pre-school age up to teens and young adults, all from varying backgrounds and nationalities. We offer child care during our services and most activities, and youth activities such as Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and ministries for pre-teens and teens during the school year and summer months.
