We are a small diverse congregation in a neighborhood that is undergoing gentrification. Advent has always been a congregation very involved in it's local neighborhood. If you're looking for what it means to live into a Christian Adventure, you've come to the right place.
Open Door Ministries consists of a Cafe where folks from the neighbor hood can hang out for a bit, a food pantry, and a payee program:
Walnut Hills Faith Alliance: A group of neighborhood churches working together to support the Douglass Elementary School, their teachers, students, and their families.

Glean and Share movement at farms in southwest Ohio. Includes the Glean and Share community garden in Walnut Hills. Glean and Share is a program within VITALITY Cincinnati (501 c 3) and is funded by the Episcopal Church and the Diocese of Southern Ohio

The Gleaners of Greater Cincinnati gleaned blueberries at two farms in 2019. Several additional gleaning events (tomatoes, sweet corn, blackberries, kale, swiss chard, peppers) were held in 2019. Plans are underway to glean again in 2020 with new safety proceedures. For more information about
