MISSIONS AND OUTREACH
The Holy Faith Mission and Outreach Committee was formed more than ten years ago to disperse funds generously provided by the Carolyn Scheffler estate. The mission was to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ by facilitating mission and outreach efforts of the parish to the community of Santa Fe and beyond. Today that same mission is intact and the funding source has expanded to include money from the Church’s operating account.
HOLY FAITH WOMEN'S GUILD
The Guild welcomes anyone who is interested in preparing craft items for the annual St. Nicholas Bazaar and in good fellowship. Specialized expertise is not required, but always welcome. The Guild meets on Wednesday from 10 am until 2 pm in the Guild Room. Business is conducted while sack lunches are consumed. Come and join us! For more information, please contact Ruth Rael at rnrael@earthlink.net.
GRIEF AND LOSS
We have sessions throughout the year for those in grief, including several two-day retreats, weekly discussion group and a workshop led by resource people from the community. If you would like to share your journey in loss (spouse, partner, parent, child) with others who have had similar experiences, please call Dr. Camille Cates Barnett at 505-988-5403 or Molly Lott at 505-983-6424. We also offer training for those who wish to assist with this ministry. Let us know if you would like to volunteer.
PRAYER SHAWL
Begun in 2005, our ministry has knitted and gifted over 880 shawls to date. The shawls are free and we encourage the congregation to pick up a shawl from the cupboard in the Kinsolving room for anyone they know in need of extra prayers.
These shawls are knitted or crocheted prayerfully, then when completed, blessed at the altar and again by the Rosary group. We have recently begun meeting in the Kinsolving room the second Monday evening of each month and hope to continue to grow in membership and visibility within the church. We encourage you to join us.
For more information, please contact Allyson Adams at 983-0283 or ailisan@aol.com.
Holy Faith Free Spirits
In this group, Singles of all ages gather to make new friends, lunch together after Church, visit museums and attend events of interest, have parties like the Academy Awards Night, and serve the community at the Interfaith Shelter, Food for Santa Fe, and parish breakfasts. Newcomers are always welcome. Watch the weekly bulletin for current schedule of events. For further information, contact Ruth Rael rnrael@earthlink.net, Jacki Walker jackiwalker@mac.com or Rebecca Tobey rutobey@yahoo.com.
Holy Faith Docents
Holy Faith is over 150 years old and maintains many connections to the history of Santa Fe,the state of New Mexico, and to many early leaders and families. The docents study and train in order to relate our story to our own members, and to the greater community. Scheduled Sunday tours are offered, as well as community-wide open houses. Worship at Holy Faith is enhanced by windows, additions, and altar designs by some of Santa Fe’s finest artists: the tradition continues today. Our tours highlight these worship surroundings and the desire to serve as good stewards for the meaningful future of this listed historical property. Please contact Kay Swindell swindellkay12@gmail.com for further information or group tours.

Parish Library
Our library dates back to 1949 and is one of the oldest and largest church libraries in the state. The mission of the Parish Library is to provide access to literature and educational material consistent with the mission and ministry of the Church of the Holy Faith. The library has approximately 6,300 items most of which are available for lending to the Parish. Virginia Lopez is the Librarian and may be reached via the church office.
The Library Committee provides support to the Library and organizes the Scheffler Lecture Series. For more information on the committee, contact Phyllis Lehmberg phyllis.lehmberg@earthlink.net.
Women's Spirituality Group

Recent study groups, previously led by the Very Reverend Peggy Patterson, D. Min., have included theological works of Hildegard of Bingen, Julian of Norwich, Teresa of Avila and Sister Joan Chittister. Watch for this series to continue in the future.
