Church of the Epiphany

Everyone is always welcome!

At Epiphany, we welcome everyone equally as children of God, created in the image of God. Whether you are visiting from out of town, "shopping for a church," seeking God or hoping to learn more about Jesus Christ, we welcome you to our worship services. Whatever your religious background, age, race, gender, sexual orientation, or economic status, we welcome you. Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, please join us at the altar for Communion. After the service, come to the Parish Hall for fellowship and light refreshments.

Established in Vacaville in 1896!

Meal Programs

Friday Night Hot Meals for low-income people. Includes helping people to find appropriate services and also offers health checks. These meals and the Tuesday Soup Lunches are provided in cooperation with various local congregations. A mobile biweekly dental/ medical clinic is present at the meals. We were the hub for El Nino dry shelter. Mobile shower program is being developed. At both the Tuesday and Friday meals, There's a Better Way, which navigates people into recovery and housing (14 vets off the street) and is a function of the Vacaville PD homeless roundtable, sends representatives.

Epiphany is working closely to support the teachers and students at Markham Elementary School and provide a lending library for children to take books and/or to be read to onsite. There is also a Little Free Library.

On Friday afternoons during tax season free tax preparation if offered. There are efforts to begin a prison ministry to the people incarcerated at Solano State Prison.

Jubilee Ministries are programs of joint discipleship in Christ with poor and oppressed people, wherever they are found, to meet basic human needs, and to build a just society. For more information on Jubilee Ministries, please visit http://www.episcopalchurch.org/blog/DomesticPoverty
