St. Peter's Church, Chelsea

St. Peter's has served our Chelsea community since 1831, when it was founded by Clement Clarke Moore, among others.  The Rectory was built in 1831, originally as a New England-style meeting house chapel.  Due to neighborhood demand, the Church was built between 1836 and 1838.  We serve as a center for our community and host many local groups in the Rectory.  In addition to Sunday services at 9am, 10am, and 6pm, we offer cultural events in the Church.

We operate a Food Pantry that distrubutes over 24,000 bags of food to hungry families each year (see below), and our core value is that we are a welcoming and inclusive community, centered in Jesus Christ.
