We will respond to God's call to us by providing an inviting, welcoming and nurturing community for all to worship God; encouraging and supporting lay ministries; and proclaiming the Good News of God's love through word and deed.

Georgetown is a town in and the county seat of Sussex County, Delaware.  According to the 2010 census the town's polulaiton is around 6,400.  The demographics of Georgetown are diverse, though the predominance is White and Hispanic or Lantino/a, predominately Guatemalan.  Since the turn of the 21st century, the major employer is Perdue Farms, which has a large chicken processing plant.  Many residents speak Haitian French or Creole, or Spanish and of course English.
