Responding to the March tornadoes in Texas

Episcopal Relief & Development worked with the Episcopal Diocese of Texas to provide financial assistance to those affected by the tornadoes in Upshur County, TX, in March 2022. The program focused on underserved populations such as the uninsured, elderly, single parents, disabled and those who might not have necessary ID for other services.

St. Michaels & All Angels Episcopal Church was instrumental in surveying their community, networking with agencies and accessing needs. Members of the church met with families, listened to their stories and provided financial assistance as needed.
