Providing assistance in response to the COVID-19 pandemic

St. Peter’s/San Pedro Episcopal Church, in partnership with the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts worked with Episcopal Relief & Development to respond to the needs of low-income Black and brown people in Salem and surrounding areas. The church worked to help people that were disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic to avoid homelessness by providing immediate cash assistance through CashApp that otherwise would have been delayed and thereby prolonged their circumstance.
