Partnering with Episcopal Relief & Development to respond to COVID-19

Place

The financial impact of COVID-19 on immigrant communities is still unfolding. In Indianapolis, a large percentage of the undocumented immigrant population has been laid off, furloughed or have had their working hours reduced, causing many families to be unable to pay their rent, utilities or pay for childcare. Episcopal Relief & Development is working the Episcopal Diocese of Indianapolis to provide relief in the form of rental and utility assistance as well as gift cards for medication and hygiene products to over 100 individuals and their families. This work will be done in collaboration with the diocese's food pantry, The Storehouse.
