My Summer Vacations at Mission Farm
Place
My father was Pastor of Winter Street Congregational Church in Bath, Maine, from 1955 to 1962. The priest/pastor at Mission Farm offered a vacation apartment to clergy and family very affordable. We enjoyed two summer vacations at Mission Farm in the late 50's. Early one morning, I wandered out to the barn where the priest was milking his cow. I startled the cow who immediately kinked over the milk bucket drenching the priest. The priest asked me to leave the barn.
At 74, I still hold fond memories of Mission Farm.
