Lee County Tornado Response

Episcopal Relief & Development contributed to the Diocese of Alabama and The Fuller Center Foundation's mission to rebuild a family home. The diocese has also begun a two-fold preparedness and resiliency program in which church leaders and members will do gift assessments and the local LTRG will do a self care activity. Initially, the Diocese of Alabama responded to the tornado by providing meals to first responders, volunteers and impacted communities. They also distributed gift cards for goods replacement, construction materials and other needed items.
