The Diocese of East Carolina works with Episcopal Relief & Development to support families in Ocracoke

Episcopal Relief & Development is supporting the Diocese of East Carolina in providing food, goods and temporary storage for Spanish speaking families on the Ocracoke island who were impacted by Hurricane Dorian this past fall. The majority of the families that the diocese is supporting work in the hospitality industry, so not only were their island homes damaged, but their livelihood as many businesses closed due to damages. This work could not have been done without St. Thomas Episcopal Church, St. James Episcopal Church and  St. George's Episcopal Church.
