Building a more resilient Northern California

From August 2021 to January 2022, the Diocese of Northern California has had three mega-fires (totaling 1,408,268 acres), inland flooding, a 6.5 magnitude earthquake, and coastal tidal flooding related to a tsunami. Episcopal Relief & Development is working with the diocese to provide assistance to survivors and strengthen preparedness plans for the future. Preparedness plans will focus on outreach to vulnerable groups including unhoused people, indigenous people and migrant workers.
