Kansas 2 Kenya Creation Care
In partnership with Agatha Amani House (www.agathaamanihouse.org), a shelter for survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Kenya, Bethany House and Garden seeks to bring sustainable farming practices from Agatha Amani House into Topeka's urban core and also to restore areas of tall grasses and prairie flowers once native to the region, many now threatened. At both sites, we seek to offer the healing that caring for creation brings. In Kanas, we also hope to teach about the carbon sequestration of prairies and the benefits of integrating prairie within agriculture.
Yoga
Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 am
Vinyasa flow: a style characterized by seamless transition between postures synchronized with breath.
Classes are free, and a suggested donation of $10 per session to the instructor is encouraged.
