Wallyhouse stays open to the needy in Honolulu

Place

Wallyhouse (named after our founder) Catholic Worker is a house of hospitality in the tradition of Dorothy Day and Peter Maurin. It is housed in the former rectory at St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church in the challenged Palama neighborhood in Honolulu, Hawaii. During the coronavirus... our gate ministry provides daily grocery bags, a weekly take-out hot lunch, device charging, mail pick up, basic first aid, hygiene and feminine products, and emergency clothing.
