All are welcome to Trinity:

At Trinity we believe God calls us to the sacred work of welcoming any and all we come through our doors. We know that whenever people visit a place for the first time it can feel overwhelming. If you are a first time visitor or someone seeking a church, please let one of the ushers know and we will be happy to introduce you to Trinity. To learn more about Trinity and our ministries, please contact Father Kevin (kcaruso@trinityepiscopal.org or 630-665-1101)

Ministries

P.A.D.S. (Public Action to Deliver Shelter)

Shelter and Housing

A network of churches and congregations throughout DuPage County that provides food and shelter to homeless persons. Trinity has participated in the P.A.D.S. program since its inception in 1985 and has been a host site since 1993. Each Monday from October to April, Trinity serves as the location for P.A.D.S. On the first Monday of those months, volunteers from our parish provide food and take shifts staffing the shelter from 6:00 p.m. Monday through 8:00 a.m. the following day. Girls Scout troops, high school volunteers, and dozens of Trinity members have joined the effort to be of service to our guests.

Christmas Sharing

Donation Coordination/Distribution

Trinity is proud to serve as a site for, and to play a major role in, Christmas Sharing. Christmas Sharing is a collaborative effort of the Wheaton community to provide food, clothing, and other gifts to less fortunate families who are part of the District 200 school system. All gifts are donated and distributed to those in our community who might not otherwise be able to afford these things for themselves or their families. Overall, this program reaches several hundred families each year, with Trinity alone reaching out to in excess of 100 of those families. Trinity has been a part of Christmas Sharing for 44 years.
