Grace Episcopal Church
Share a story
Welcome to Grace Episcopal Church in Freeport, Illinois. We are a 160- year-old, diverse and inclusive congregation and are part of the world-wide Anglican communion, in the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago.
Our service is both ancient and new, based on the historic Anglican forms of prayer, music, and sacraments, but includes preaching and ministry that is relative to our contemporary life.
We are actively involved in the local community and provide many opportunities for community outreach and fellowship.
You are welcome too!
If you are just visiting for the weekend or if you are looking for a new congregation, we welcome you to join us. We hope that you will feel God's prescence as you worship with us. You are welcome where ever you are in your spiritual journey.
First Time Visitor?
The first thing to do is choose a service to attend. We have two services on Sunday as well as a mid-week service on Wednesday evening. Children are welcome to all of our services.
Nursery care is available for the 10:00am service.
Getting to Know Each Other
Our greeters are here to welcome you. If you are new, please introduce yourself to one of them and introduce yourself to our rector, Father Brian Prall, after the services.
Join us after the 9:00 am service for coffee hour in the undercroft.
