St. George's Episcopal Church

We are a mission of the Diocese of Colorado. We host "supper-church" every Sunday at 5pm. This is a Rite II service, followed by soup and bread. We also have an open discussion of the Sunday lectionary readings every Friday at 1pm at City on a Hill Coffeehouse.

Our Community Meals are an outreach of Saint George Episcopal Church. We provide appetizing, nutritious meals in a welcoming, safe and open environment, where connections are forged and our community enriched. We provide these services to the people of Leadville, especially those whose emotional and financial needs are greatest. We serve lunch on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and supper on Saturday. We also host Food Bank of the Rockies on the third Wednesday of every month. Last year, we served 9,305 hot meals, and 1,205 food bags were given out.
