Caring Ministries of Morgan County

Caring Ministries of Morgan County is the service arm of all the churches and community of Morgan County. Its mission is to provide the essentials to individuals and families who need a hand up through times, to prevent homelessness or help with food until payday. Current services include a food pantry, Christmas food baskets, emergency service program, shelter program, school supply closet, thrift store and clothing bank.

St. Charles Episcopal was one of twenty-plus churches, along with several community leaders, working to create an organization that would be able to be a central point of contact for individuals and families in Morgan County to receive supportive services. Our first and longtime director was Kathy Thomas, a St. Charles parishioner. St. Charles continues to be a source of support and volunteers for the ministry.
