The Church of the Transfiguration, or the “Chapel of Ease,” is the only church of its kind under the auspices of the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut. Services are held every Sunday during the summer months from May through September.
Also known as “The Bishop’s Chapel,” because we have no presiding clergy, the church is host to a variety of priests and bishops prominent in the Episcopal Church.
Please join us for our 124th summer of worship. Holy Eucharist or Morning Prayer services begin at 11am, followed by refreshments on the lawn.
