Church Divinity School of the Pacific

• Our Master of Divinity Program offers rigorous academic and spiritual formation for people who will, in a time of religious and cultural pluralism, lead the church in participating in God’s mission, forming Christian disciples, and proclaiming the Gospel.
• Our Certificate of Anglican Studies is designed for a variety of students who wish to participate in the academic, spiritual, and communal life of CDSP without earning a degree. For instance, it is suitable for those who already possess the M.Div. or the equivalent from another seminary and who wish to pursue special study of the Anglican tradition.
• Our Master of Theological Studies, offered in residential and online formats, is a flexible program that provides solid academic grounding in theological disciplines and provides students with opportunities to integrate their interests and expertise in other fields. The M.T.S. deepens students’ capacity for lay vocations in the church and the world, including chaplaincy, but is not intended to prepare students for ordination.
• The Graduate Theological Union (GTU) Common Master of Arts degree program provides a basic understanding of theological or religious studies as preparation for doctoral study or as an academic foundation for secondary school teaching, education or social justice ministries, or religious leadership in the non-profit sector.

• The Graduate Theological Union (GTU) Doctor of Philosophy advanced academic degree prepares students for professional careers in teaching, writing, and scholarship, as well as for leadership opportunities with religious organizations, social service agencies, foundations, museums, libraries, publishing, and in educational institutions.

• Our Center for Anglican Learning and Leadership (CALL) works actively with partner dioceses across the Episcopal Church to develop curricula and courses that support local formation for ordained ministry and complement diocesan-based retreats and formation experiences. CALL’s online courses are taught by experienced instructors—often seminary professors—and students can work directly with instructors as well as fellow students. 

The Guest Services department of Church Divinity School of the Pacific seeks to offer more than just comfortable lodging and congenial meeting space in our Easton Call Conference Center. We work hard to foster an environment that nurtures the spirit and engages the mind. Whether you are seeking a night's stay or semester-long sabbatical, a weekend or weeklong retreat, our aim is to create a treasured lasting memory.
