St. Peter's Episcopal Church

St. Peters is a large multi-generational church community, with vibrant worship and Christian educational opportunities for all ages.

St. Peter's also serves God by serving others. An essential aspect of our ministry is outreach to families with financial difficulties.  In doing so, we ascribe to Jesus' teaching in Matthew 25:34-36 where he directs us to assist the less fortunate. We use our resources to help housing-insecure parents of school-age children with temporary shelter.  This outreach puts St. Peter's on the front lines in the fight to break the cycle of poverty by keeping kids in school. We work with our local school district and Compass Center for Families' parent liaison personnel to keep a roof over children's heads, as it is challenging for children to attend school if they are homeless.
