St. Stephen’s Choir

This adult group sings classical choral music as well as gospel, spirituals, world music, and other contemporary music. The choir leads the 10 am service each week, and also presents music for special services and the annual Messiah Sing and spring concert.  Rehearsals are Thursdays 7:00 to 9 pm.

Children's Ministries

Children and Youth Ministries

CHILDREN
From early September through May we have Sunday School for Preschool through fifth grade children. Our “family” service is held each Sunday at 10 AM. The children are in Sunday School from 10AM until about 10:45. They will come up and join their families for the Eucharist. We also have nursery care year round on Sunday for babies and children under 3. All children are welcome to attend our Sunday School and activities.

Please know that the worship experience of your children is important to us. Children learn to worship by participating and we value their presence in church. We understand that they may not be quiet or sit still… but children will still be learning from watching their family pray.

YOUTH
Acolyte program, Youth Group, middle and high school immersion trips, Happening, summer camps and so much more. Youth Group meets every Sunday during the school year for discussion, fun, food, and more. For more information, contact ethan@ststephensorinda.org

Helping Hands

Helping Hands is a ministry of practical care providing meals, rides, and other household errands for people in short-term need (after an illness, new baby, or other major life event).
If you are in need of a helping hand, contact Sara Nelson

Prayer Groups

Prayer Groups are teams of people who pray for the needs of our community and the world. We pray daily at Morning Prayer (7am), weekly at our Wednesday Eucharist (10am), and monthly at meetings of our Intercessory Prayer Group.

To join the group or be added to the prayer list, email Brenda Free, our Parish Administrator.

Eucharistic Visitors

Eucharistic Visitors are trained and licensed to take communion to the home-bound and hospitalized. Eucharistic visitors share this ministry with St Stephen’s clergy.
