Our Mission

The Episcopal Church strives to live by the message of Christ, in which there are no outcasts and all are welcome.  Walking a middle way between Roman Catholicism and Protestant traditions, we are a sacramental and worship-oriented church that promotes thoughtful debate about what God is calling us to do and be, as followers of Christ.

Outreach

One of Ascension's chief ministries is to those in need, be it in our neighborhood, city, country, or abroad. The Outreach Ministry partners with many local organizations and charities to help those in need. At Ascension, we believe that path is to love with the heart of Christ, to think with the mind of Christ, and to act as the body of Christ in the communities to which we are called: our families, our Church family, our Diocese, our community and beyond.  We maintain healthy and active partnerships with many charitable organizations at the local, regional, and global levels.
