Mission

At Christ Church, you are welcome as you are and wherever you may be on your journey.

As part of the Episcopal Church and Anglican Christianity, we share a long tradition of making room for a diversity of religious, political and social positions. We believe that the light and love of God are at the very heart of all things. This light and love are fully manifested for Christians in the life of Jesus of Nazareth, and we believe they are also revealed in all of the great faith traditions. We commit to living into this sacred light and sharing it freely with all.

The Episcopal Church is often called the "bridge" church because we embrace both Catholic and Protestant traditions and worship. Episcopal theology is "incarnational": we emphasize God with us, now, through Jesus Christ. God is found, we believe, in the most ordinary as well as extraordinary activities of human life. We seek to recognize and serve Christ in all people, with God's help.

We strive to live out the promise made in the Baptismal Covenant "to seek and serve Christ in all persons, respecting the dignity of every human being." Accordingly, we are an open and affirming community. We welcome people of every denomination, faith, gender, and culture. All are welcome.

Worship times

Sunday
10:00 am
English
Spanish
We have a worship time of 10 am in English on Sunday and 1pm in Spanish on Sunday. We do Rite II. The caveat to the worship is that we usually have a bullentin and will employ a myriad of different prayers from around the world within the Episcopal/Anglican Church. The music may be from the 1982 Blue Hymnal or it may be Bluetoothed from YouTube from a variety of genres. The worship is usually Facebook livestreamed via Mevo.
