The mission of St. Mary Magdalene Church is to be a Real, Rooted, and Relevant community of faith in the Episcopal tradition proclaiming the Good News of Jesus in Belton and beyond. Worship is at the heart of our life together as we seek bring others the good news of Christ's Resurrection and form disciples of Jesus, rooted in prayer, study, and service.

Worship times
A brief, quiet, and reflective service to begin the day and prepare us to celebrate the Holy Eucharist.
Morning Prayer is the first service in the Church’s daily pattern of prayer, known as the Daily Office. In it, we come together in the presence of God to set forth his praise, hear his holy Word, and ask, for ourselves and on behalf of others, for those things that are necessary for our life and our salvation.
The service lasts about 20–25 minutes.
The Church’s sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving, the Holy Eucharist is known by many names: the Lord’s Supper, Holy Communion, the Divine Liturgy, the Great Offering, and the Mass.
In the Eucharist, we hear Holy Scripture, pray for the Church and the world, and offer God all that we are, together with bread and wine. Through the prayers of the Church, the bread and wine are consecrated and given back to us as the Gifts of God for the People of God. In these gifts, we receive spiritual food and drink and feed on Christ.
Our principal service with music and a sermon. This service lasts about 60-75 minutes.
Volunteer opportunities
We partner with Heart n Hand (local food pantry and support to the homeless), SingleMom KC (Bible-based ministry that offers job support, referral to legal and other help, workshops on healing from trauma, a free clothing and necessities boutique) and participate in mission trips to Haiti to support the birthing home (Maison de Naissance). Our parishioners are active in these organizations as well.
Our Community Garden provides produce for Heart n Hand food pantry.
We also have a chapter of Daughters of the King which supports various service projects throughout the year.
