Located in the heart of Potomac Village, we’re an active and growing congregation with families of all ages. Whether you are just curious or are searching for a place to worship and belong, we are delighted you have found us. Saint Francis is a warm and caring community of families and singles, young and old. We have members from a wide variety of backgrounds, united by our common desire to grow in faith and love as we follow Jesus Christ together. We think you’ll find that our church is easy to visit – Expect several of us to introduce themselves and offer their assistance. We aim to be welcoming but not pushy, and we do our best to make visitors feel at home here. We want to offer you the same welcome and friendship that were extended to us when we first came to Saint Francis.

Youth Group Ministry
St. Francis offers a youth group for students in grades 6 -12.

Outreach Ministry
St. Francis provides meals to many local shelters throughout the year. We also support St. Stephen's Loaves & Fishes feeding ministry as well as the MANNA food center.

Christian Education
St. Francis has a Sunday School and VBS program for students in preschool through grade 6. We meet on Sundays during the school year, and provide an engaging and fun Christian education. The summer Vacation Bible School extends the learning into the summer with a week of hands on, fun Christian learning.

International Relationships
Diocese of Kondoa, Tanzania
We support the Women's Empowerment program, which provides training in sewing, literacy, and business to women (and the occasional man). Students are also given lessons in health, nutrition, parenting skills, Christian marriage and business skills in order to better equip them for life. St. Francis has been providing some financial support for this program for several years.
