St. Augustine's Episcopal Church

At St. Augustine's Church we are shaped by our mission: to invite people into the midst of this Church, connect with God and one another, equip ourselves as disciples, and ask God to send us forth to share Christ's mission of peace, justice, and service in the world. Please join us!
You will find St. Augustine’s in Wilmette at 1140 Wilmette Avenue, two blocks east of Green Bay Road. At St. A’s we practice open communion, which means that everybody (everybody, everybody!) who worships with us is welcome to receive the gifts of bread and wine that God gives us. We share them with joy.
We worship Sunday mornings at 9:30. Children begin Church School at 9:15 and join their families for Holy Communion. After worship, we continue with fellowship and adult formation in our parish hall.
We look forward to the chance to say hello in person. Again, welcome. We’re glad you’re here.

Ministries
Feeding
Members of St. Augustine's work in many ways to end hunger:
- The Second Sunday of each month our all-parish food collections support local food pantries.
- North Shore CROP Walk: St. A’s walkers raise funds every year to help alleviate hunger.
- Parish volunteers serve dinner monthly at A Just Harvest Soup Kitchen.
- Each Sunday, parishioners provide food rescue by delivering bread to area food pantries.
- Every year we award grants to local pantries and agencies working toward a day when no one will go hungry.
