St. Luke's Episcopal Church

Share a story

Founded in 1885, St. Luke's is the oldest parish in the Episcopal diocese of Southwest Florida.

Our vision is to be an abiding witness in our community to the love and saving power of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our mission is to worship God in the Anglican tradition of the one holy catholic and apostolic church, availing ourselves of the means of grace and awaiting our hope in glory.

St. Luke’s is an Episcopal parish in the Anglo-Catholic tradition. In our tradition, we cherish the unity we share in the Eucharist, wherein our diverse members are made one body with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by receiving his body and blood. We preach the Holy Scriptures with power and clarity, proclaiming the Word of God as it speaks to us today. We worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness, with music and ceremonial, dedicating the whole of who we are, souls and bodies, to his service in the world He created and loves.
