Share a story

Trinity Episcopal Church was founded in 1882.  Trinity Episcopal Church is a located at 123 3rd St. NE East Kemp in downtown Watertown, SD.    It is a community with a congregation diverse in age and previous religious backgrounds. We welcome everyone to the table to worship together to the Glory of God.  The mission of Trinity Episcopal Church is to devote our lives to Christ through prayer, worship, service, and learning; to seek others to share our commitment.

Our worship style is broad and varies depending on the week. We typically use rite II and occasionally worship using a Native American enculturated liturgy. We believe that liturgy, being the work of the people, should involve the people. Our liturgy expresses our love for God and our neighbor. Our worship doesn't seek perfection or fussiness, but seeks to reflect love, inclusion, beauty, and community.

Volunteer opportunities

Ongoing commitment opportunities

We could always use help on our Laundry Love nights.  We can also use help curating our blessing box ministry.

BLESSING BOX

Donation Coordination/Distribution
Food Pantries

The Blessing Box is open to all community members.  The premise of the box is: Bring what you can, Take what you need; Above all, BE BLESSED!  Community members leave or take items in this unlocked box.  It provides short-term needs.  We have witnessed some pretty amazing things happening at this Blessing Box: from those who are finding needed items to those who are bringing things to give! What a testimony to God and all Blessings he bestows upon us!!
