Christ Church/Iglesia La Virgen de Guadalupe

"DCRP engages primarily women while they are still incarcerated at the Dutchess County Jail before their release, as well as women from state or federal prisons after their release.  We offer them local contacts, encouragement, job interviewing skills, housing direction (though no money).  We provide hands-on assistance to them as they attempt to maneuver their way through the complicated local resource base of service for which they are qualified. 

BOCES offers two days of ESL classes and three days of GED classes at Christ Church throughout the school year and sumer."

Six week day-camp;  July - Mid-August.  2013 is our 50th year of operating Summer Camp.  60 children ages 6-11, primarily from the inner-city working poor population.  Paid staff.  Educational activities, arts, environment, swimming, field trips, outside events in our extensive playground and park.

We are taking a leadership role in Dutchess Habitat for Humanity undertaking a FaithBuild project.  Seeking to raise $ 80,000 for Dutchess County churches over the next two years.
