As followers of Jesus Christ, the people of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church are called to learn, serve, welcome, and celebrate.

At St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, we believe there is a place for everyone around God’s table. With love and respect, we welcome all people into our community. Ministries

Greater Portland Bible Church Food Pantry & Portland Rescue Mission

Food Pantries

Members donate food, with an emphasis on shelf-stable protein, for the food pantry at the church across the street, which is delivered the first week of each month.

We also provide and serve dinner for Shepherd's Door on a monthly basis. Shepherd's Door is a ministry of the Portland Rescue Mission that provides housing and substance abuse rehabilitation for women with children. The women and their children are housed together, a unique service.

We also do occasional drives (such as coat drives) for the Portland Rescue Mission.
