Mission

Know The Lord.
Share His Love.
Spread His Word.

St. Raphael's is a small but enthusiastic parish.  We are a welcoming community of believers in Jesus Christ.  All are welcome to the table of Jesus Christ and are encouraged to join our community for Holy Eucharist on Sundays at 9:30AM

Our service is a Rite 2 service with music.  The environment is friendly and casual, and we are dedicated to the proper use of our Book of Common Prayer.  We are committed to sharing good liturgy that is visitor friendly.

The Episcopal Church is a Protestant church with strong ties to the Roman Catholic tradition. It is called the Via Media, or the "middle way."  It is based on the principle of the three legged stool: Scripture, Tradition and Reason.

The Episcopal Church is located under a very wide umbrella. St. Raphael's welcomes ALL people...

NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

So whether you come out of the Roman Catholic tradition or the Protestant tradition, you will find a home here. In the Episcopal Tradition, ALL Baptized Christians are welcome to celebrate the Holy Eucharist in God's House and at Our Lord's Table.

Sunday School is held once a month, and all children are welcome, whether you are a one time visitor or are raising your children in our church, please feel free to include your children in our Sunday School.

We are committed to service in our community and work with other faith groups in feeding the hungry, providing for the homeless,  and have a particular commitment to the care and welfare of animals.  Our partnership with a rescue group and The Jersey Shore Animal Shelter has led us to collect needed items to help make life more comfortable for rescued and sheltered animals.

Wherever you are on your faith journey, please know that you are welcome here.
