St. James' Episcopal Church

Share a story

Located in the heart of downtown Bozeman, St. James is committed to being a community where each of us practices a radical welcome with openness and inclusiveness. We look for the sacred deep within one another, offering support and acceptance for all people, no matter who they are, where they've come from, or who they love.

St. James has a long history of partnership with non-profits in our community to be God's hands and feet in the world. Learn more at stjamesbozeman.org/outreach.

St. James welcomed Bishop Markus Dogo in June, 2024 to learn about the Anglican Church in Nigeria and the work that the Africa Education Partnership has done in the diocese of Kafanchan and Zamfara. Jim Lawson, a parishioner who relocated to Bozeman from Connecticut and the founding partner church of AEP brought Bishop Dogo and the work of AEP to the attention of St. James.
