Church of the Holy Communion

At Holy Communion:
We believe it is our purpose and goal is to help nurture your spiritual journey toward union with God.
We believe God created human beings to be in relationship with God, fully human and fully divine.
This was called theosis by the ancient Church and is the purpose/end/meaning of human existence.  It can only be realized with the help of the Holy Spirit.  It cannot be earned, only given.
The journey toward theosis includes:

1. Contemplation (prayer)
2. Meditation (Reflection/study)
3. Celebrating the sacraments, especially the Holy Eucharist.
4. Reaching out in service to others that are in need.

We believe that there is NOTHING you can do to make God love you LESS.
We believe that there is NOTHING you can do to make God love you MORE.
We believe that the Bible is inspired (not inerrant).  The Bible contains ancient wisdom for current living.
We believe in critical thinking for passionate living.
We believe that our Christian Spiritual ancestors have provided us with a path to have a fulfilling meaningful significant and purposeful life.
We follow one general principle:
All may, none must, some should!
