St. Luke's Episcopal Church

Located in the heart of Depot town in Ypsilanti, St. Luke's Episcopal Church, offers weekly Sunday Eucharist with biblically based sermons. For those with young families, Church School and Nursery care are also available.  We worship in the Episcopal tradition. We discuss current issues from a Christian perspective. We serve the community through outreach. We gather to talk about the broader Christian church and how we help shape it.

The Book of Common Prayer and the Hymnal offer us an abundant liturgical tradition for weekly celebrations of the Eucharist, Morning Prayer, Evening Prayer. We come together as a community as frequently for prayer as we do potlucks.  We hold that scripture can be understood as the story of God's saving grace. As a community we can celebrate our triumphs, mourn our tragedies, become more accepting,  and share our gifts.

You are Welcome Here

St. Luke's is an open and affirming Christian community. We welcome people from all places on their spiritual journeys. Absolute faith is not a requirement; an open heart and an open mind is all you need. Visitors, please join us after the service for a gathering in the Great Hall for refreshments and fellowship.
