St Stephen's Episcopal Church

Share a story

We are an Episcopal church that values diversity, acceptance, and respect for all, where everyone can gather together to worship, learn, and serve. We believe life is a spiritual journey, and we invite God’s people to journey with us as we walk the Episcopal way of love, mission, and service. Many of us started our faith journeys in another denomination or no church at all. We invite you to explore our parish, where you are welcome no matter who you are or where you find yourself on life’s path. We hope you find us a friendly parish, a place where you may draw near to God and a place where you can grow in Christian faith and spirituality.

We have a large parish hall that many community groups like to use (information about hall rental is found through our website). We are blessed to have a large piece of land for picnics and youth activities; and an outdoor patio for gatherings and when the weather is nice, our Saturday service is held there. We also have a good-sized parking lot, handicap-accessible entryways and restrooms, and classrooms in various sizes.

St. Stephen's is a member of the McGehee Deanery of the Diocese of Michigan, and we enjoy participating in the Troy-area Interfaith Group and the Troy Ecumenical Churches, for shared worship, awareness-raising and community action.
