The mission of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church is to welcome all in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to share in the Good News of God; to worship in spirit and in truth; to provide an atmosphere to love and to encourage all to share their time, talents and treasures in thanksgiving to God and in gratitude for what He has done for us; and to go forth into the comnmunity to live the Gospel and to bring others to the faith.

The church reaches far and wide and serves a membership of diverse cultures. As a "House of Prayer," St. Andrew's truly promotes the general feeling of fellowship among its members.

The Holy Eucharist is celebrated at St. Andrews on Sundays with a sung Eucharist at 10:30 a.m. The average attendance is 100. Fellowship usually follows in the parish hall.

Bible Study convenes on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. with a spiritual director of the group.

St. Andrew's has two choirs - a Eucharist Choir and a Gospel Choir. The Eucharist choir sings for the 10:30 a.m. service every Sunday, except third the Sunday when the Gospel Choir sings .

Children and Youth Ministries

"The mission of St Andrews Afterschool Program is to provide a safe and quality education to all the students. Our goal is to prepare the students to be lifelong learners so that they will become active participants in the community and within their families. Services provided are arts and crafts, tutoring in Math/Language, dance and movement, computer and interactive learning centers, cooking, mural painting in various paint such as oil, acrylic, and water-base and educational table games that enhance social skills. Additionally, we provide the help students need to succeed on state wide and city exams."

St. Andrew's Summer Camp

Children and Youth Ministries

The mission of St. Andrew's Summer Camp is to provide a safe haven during the summer months for children in the Castle Hill Avenue section of the Bronx. Services provided are Sports and Recreation, Arts and Crafts, Dance and Movement, Computer and Interactive Learning Center, Water Fun, Fashion Shows and Educational Field Trips.

Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4PM (late coverage until 6PM)
