Old Trinity is located one mile west of the town of Church Creek, and eight miles from Cambridge, on Maryland Route 16, called "Taylors Island Road", at the point Route 16 intersects "Old Trinity Church Road."

Old Trinity Church was built in the 17th century and perfectly restored in the 1950s. This tiny architectural gem continues to house an active congregation of the Episcopal Church, worshipping in a style compatible with its restoration (11 a.m. Sunday).

The cemetery continues to be used as a burial ground for the community and those drawn to the peaceful setting. In 2008, a project restored the shoreline in an environmentally sensitive manner. Conservation and wildlife buffers have been planted.

Old Trinity is actively involved in the community. As part of its Good Neighbor Project, the Church helped to organize the South Dorchester Community Conversation in April 2012. One outcome of this community gathering is that Old Trinity's Project has become the South Dorchester Good Neighbor Project - where the community looks for ways to be good neighbors to one another, in good times and bad.
