St. James Episcopal Church

Share a story

Since 1842, our congregation in historic downtown Greeneville, Tennessee has been seeking and finding unity with God and each other in Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We strive to be a place of “radical welcome and hospitality” as we seek to serve Jesus in one another, and we hope that you will feel the presence of the living Christ in this wonderful, active, and growing community.

Breaking Bread was envisioned by St. James Episcopal Church (the Rev. Ken Saunders and Mr. Bill Smith) and Reformation Lutheran Church (the Rev. Jim DuMond) in Greeneville, Tennessee, with the desire to offer those on the Tusculum campus an opportunity to gather, discuss, learn, and be together in a welcoming Christian community.
