Welcome to the St. Philip in the Field Episcopal Church website! We’re glad you found us and hope you will take time to learn more about our lay-led historic pioneer church and its community. We are located in Sedalia, Colorado in the beautiful Plum Creek Valley. The church was built in 1872 and is on the National Historic Register.
St. Philip in the Field church services are Sunday at 9AM and online, via Zoom. We invite you to join any of the services, as you are able. For Zoom login information, see our website spifepiscopal.org and click on the zoom link.
We are thankful to be able to continue to reach out to our neighbors – here and abroad – and welcome you to join us in those efforts. The first one hundred years of St. Philip in the Field Episcopal Church
If you were to drive five miles south from the town of Sedalia on the Perry Park Road, you would come to a spot of rare beauty. To the West of the highway, with a range of the rockies for a backdrop, you would see the church of St. Philip in the Field.
